Lowes x Jeans for Genes
Since 1998, Lowes has been a proud partner of the Children's Medical Research Institute (CMRI) and the Jeans for Genes initiative.
1 in 20 kids face a genetic disease like cancer. Kids just want to be kids, instead of getting liver transplants, taking dozens of medications, or getting their next dose of chemotherapy. Throughout our 26-year partnership with the CMRI, Lowes has proudly donated over $1,118,917. This money supports the foundation in raising awareness of genetic diseases and working to find cures for sick kids.
Lowes CEO and Co-Owner, Linda Penn, and her family have a long history with the Children’s Medical Research Institute, and it is a charity they hold close to their hearts.
Each year, Lowes supports the Jeans for Genes foundation in store and online. In recent years we have sold merchandise with 100% of all funds raised being donated to the foundation. This year, in an effort to raise more funds and support this essential research, Lowes is donating $5 from every pair of jeans sold, until 1 September.
Support Lowes, support Jeans for Genes, it’s jean-ius!
